Do you need help to file your VAT returns under the new regime of Making Tax Digital for VAT?

From 1st April 2019 most VAT registered businesses with turnover above £85,000 will be required to keep their accounting records in a digital format AND file vat returns through approved software. Using a manual cash book or spreadsheets or old desktop software to calculate the vat and then logging into your HMRC government gateway account to type in the quarterly figures will no longer be possible.

We can help and provide a cost effective way of complying with the new regulations.

We offer a simple and convenient way of keeping your accounting records using Quick Books Online. With your bank transactions feeding into the software automatically, you can see very quickly how the business is doing – and how much VAT you have to pay. The software is making tax digital (MTD) ready, so you will be able to file the returns in the correct way.

Are you using Quick Books Desktop and want to transfer to Quick Books Online? That is possible from later versions, and you will be able to keep your transactions and customer and supplier data. Contact us to discuss how best to do this.

Do you use other software and need to find a way of importing a large number of customers and suppliers into Quick Books Online to avoid having to set them all up again? There are ways of doing this, so contact us to discuss the options.
